The Spartan ATLAS programs are a critical series of foundational muscle strength and balance exercises that highlight strict movement techniques and emphasize posture and healthy joint range of motion. It is recommended that most Soldiers seeking H2F assistance start with the 4-day ATLAS programs unless otherwise advised by an experienced strength & conditioning coach.
The Spartan PEGASUS program is ideal for Soldiers that need to prioritize improving their aerobic capacity and running ability. Still interwoven with several exercises to maintain strength, these 4-day routines focus more on muscular endurance and hip/core stabilizers, with each session designed to finish by improving an aerobic base of cardiovascular fitness, along with more efficiency with gait and stride patterns.
SHIELD BRIDGE PROGRAM
The Spartan ACFT TEST-PREP Program is a two-phase progression dedicated to improving Soldiers' performance on the Army Combat Fitness Test. These specific 3-day routines were designed to help guide participants in improving upon very specific antagonistic movements, while also helping to prevent overtraining in preparation for ACFT tests.
